The NAD+ Decline Problem

Notably absent from the human evidence: dramatic longevity effects in humans. These trials measure surrogate markers — NAD+ levels, insulin sensitivity, VO2 max — that we believe correlate with healthspan. None have measured lifespan extension in humans, which would be essentially impossible to study in a clinical trial. The animal data showing lifespan extension is compelling but cannot be directly extrapolated.

All published human trials (up to 12 months) show NMN to be well-tolerated with no serious adverse events.
